Description
The Secretariat of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights requires the services of a qualified Intern to assist its Registry. The intern should be prepared to work in an exacting fast-paced multi-cultural international environment. At the end of the internship, the Intern would have gained broad experience in various aspects of the organization’s work.
Responsibilities
The Intern’s responsibilities will include the following:
Receiving and filing correspondences;
Dispatching correspondences;
Reproducing and scanning documents;
Assisting the Filing Clerk in his day to day duties;
Carrying out any other duties as may be assigned by the Secretary to the Commission
Education
& Qualification
Candidates must have a minimum of a Senior Secondary School Leaving Certificate or its equivalent.
Other Requirements
Fluency in English. Knowledge of another African Union Working language will be an added advantage;
Good writing skills
Good organizational skills
Computer literacy, in particular, Microsoft applications
Ability to use photocopiers, scanners, printers etc.

The internship is unpaid and voluntary.
