INTERSESSION ACTIVITY REPORTS The Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Women in Africa reports to the African Commission on the activities undertaken during the period between each Ordinary Session of the Commission. Intersession activity reports are public documents informing the African Commission and the general public on the actions taken by the Special Rapporteur within her mandate. The reports offer updated information on: ongoing projects and studies led by the Special Raporteur; events the Special Rapporteur took part in; planned missions of the Special Rapporteur to African countries, partnerships between the Special Rapporteur and other institutions, and an overview of the situation of women’s rights in Africa, with particular emphasis on the developments regarding the Protocol to the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights,on the Rights of Women in Africa.
