Mission of the ACHPR to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, 3rd - 14th March 2007

A delegation of the ACHPR comprising two members of the African Commission and three staff members of the Secretariat of the ACHPR will undertake a mission to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) from 5 – 13 March 2007. The members in the ACHPR delegation are:
- Commissioner Angela Melo;
- Commissioner Sanji Monageng;
- Robert Eno – Legal Officer (Protection) and Officer-in-Charge;
- Chafi Bakari - Senior Legal Officer (Promotion); and
- Abiola Ayinla - Legal Expert
The aim of the mission is to facilitate a beneficial exchange and cooperation between the two regional human rights organs for the better protection of human rights.
The mission is being facilitated and sponsored by the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria, South Africa.
