From 7 to 9 October 2011, the Committee held its second Internal meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, during which the rules of procedure of the Committee were formulated and adopted, in addition to strategies for a partnership between the Committee and civil society NGOs. The Committee also discussed issues to be featured in a study which will address the issue of HIV/AIDS and human rights in collaboration with the African human rights system.
