African Charter on Human and People’s Rights (ACHPR) – massive violations of human and peoples’ rights committed by the armed forces in the Republics of Burundi, Rwanda and Uganda.
Whether the respondent is in violation of the fundamental principles that govern friendly relations between State under the Charters of the United Nations (UN) and the Organization of African Unity (OAU): non-recourse to force in international relations, the peaceful settlement of differences, respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of States and non-interference in the internal affairs of States.
