The first part is a basic document on the Republic of Guinea. After a general introduction, it focuses on the general political structure of the country since 1958 and the Basic Law adopted and promulgated in 1990. "The Basic Law has established the foundations for a democratic and social state based on the separation of powers."

The second part describes the measures taken to give effect to the Articles of the Charter, by following these Articles.

From the Conclusion: "In recent years, the Republic of Guinea has made ​​considerable progress in the respect, protection and promotion of human rights. The Basic Law devotes a concrete guarantee and promotion of human rights under the jurisdiction of the judiciary before which citizens can claim their rights and defend them."
